I’ve seen pictures and videos where people’s lips can turn very puffy, to the point where you might think it looks bad for a couple of days. Just in case, don’t get it done within ten days of a big event! After ten days, or once your lips set, you can always go back to get them filled more if you feel like you need it.
What If I Hate My Lip Filler?
As long as you are getting a temporary filler it can be removed if you hate the results. How? Your doctor simply injects an “eraser” formula that breaks down the filler, and your lip augmentation can dissolve in a couple of minutes.

After a year, any unused filler will be tossed. The unused product eventually starts to stiffen and get crunchy—not something you want in your lips.

However, what’s “in” is always changing and big ‘ol lips aren’t seen on every model or celeb, either. Luckily the products that goes into your lips disappears over time, and you can change the look! That’s if you are doing the temporary filler, of course.

Usually, temporary lip fills cost $450-$600 per syringe. Like I said above, you can store any extra with your doc for up to a year. So depending on how plump you want to go, one syringe could last you a couple rounds.

Although cosmetic procedures aren’t rare anymore, some people are still offended that it’s “not natural.” The way I see it, if I don’t use lip liner, my lips appear a little smaller than I would like.
